Bright colours

Perhaps this is the entrance for a kindergarden, or a huge family, or just someone with a lot of cloth….I dont know…but to enter this room would for me create a lot of happiness. Soaked in colour…its wonderful….in some weeks when I have vacation, one of my plans will be to paint my frontdoor yellow on the inside…that will make us happy…everyday…

Feminine

I know I have uploaded this bathroom before…but I think a second time still adds value to you viewers…the tiles are my focal point, and the the curved opening is so sweet…it reminds me of my childhood in the house of my grandparents. They were having glass sliding doors with wooden frame, and thin pleated curtains, and I remember how beautiful I thought it was…and how the things a light behind went so soft….this bathroom have this kind of softness….and are very feminine…those towels are more like shawls…ps. one last thing, I like to open windows with the handle at the image….a good size for a hand

Look at this

Have a look at this….I was so thrilled to see how high they have been hanging this painting….really high, and of course it helps that the ceiling must be quite high, but placing the painting this way creates something extra to the space…like its floating in the air…and giving a speech to the sofa area…quite nice hanged on the besides very lovely coloured wall…and I love looooong curtains, they are so elegant…they looks heavy when they are long…I like that…I have no curtains at home only beautiful textiles I put up every evening when its bedtime….I like having the space around the windows clean, and then it provides extra light in the room, and bonus is I don’t spoil my extravagant view to the ocean….

Shapes

One of a kind designs, huge variation, tactility, sense of material and a lot of shapes… with a person behind which have a good imagination. These items brings beauty to the world…and makes me happy….there is something very harmonious about all of them….

Like today I felt I provided some important space a lot more value, by rearranging the furnitures, paintings and items, so the space opened up, felt more spacious, light, welcoming, modern. think about how little changes can give such a huge effect which makes people more satisfied and relaxed. And in this case they have been embarrassed by the style and look, which changed within and hour….that is what I’m good at….making space beautiful with the items by hand, not by buying a bunch of new things, but recycling the things of the environment, putting them together in the right context…..a add a little bit of painted walls from time to time….

The people were so inspired by the changes that they themselves started to throw out, change small local spaces….and felt a renewed reason to give themselves a more loving space….what a nice day….

Wintersong

Mix of poetry and singing, storytelling and dialouges…two norwegian musicians Odd Børretzen and Lars Martin Myhre. I have heard them for many many years…their text are so thoughtful, and deep rooted in dailylife…filled with dilemmas, western life conditions, like being invisible in a trainwagon filled with people….loneliness, and singing about kindness and just being an ordinary human being in this dailylife…with norwegian fairytale background. Kind of Ken Loach just music and very very poetic…and starting amazing thoughtproces just by listening to them.

So much good to come

https://vimeo.com/98323801

I know the start of this is in danish, but you will understand the context by watching it. This is about a farmer, the universe and the bureaucracy. A documentary from 2014 which I have been looking forward to see since it came out. I have a postcard from the movie with this saying, So much good to come, and placed it at my bathroom meeting my eyes every morning.

This man and farmer believes that we all in it together, that nothing happens by accident, and that if we pay each other and nature respect we have so much good to come. Its so wonderful to experience his way of talking about his dailylife, and the way he talks with the animals, and his whole way of living, very waldorf-Rudolf Steiner. My heart was singing while I saw it…and whenever it sings its aligned…so my path have always been holistic. Although I miss living close to this kind of nature, my present environment covers way beyond what I have experienced in Europe….but it cannot be compared…two different worlds..

Patterns

The days are running so fast…social life, a signage-wayfinding project next to daily work and proposals for two other interiorprojects…and of course my little family….and then summer….at last summer….although a little bit chilly…but sun, and children in and out of the house…and the plants jumping out of the soil, knowing that the time is so limited….
