Charging…

The batteries…is what these livingrooms look like, friendly, warm, colorful, rich, personal, some of them simple…which make me think about a painters company I am working with about my present project…let me write about it in the next post!

A seating situation I really like is this purple one…so warm….

And the new life starts next week going to California for a month, another month in Denmark, back in Greenland for a month or two and then starting a new life in a very lovely house inspired by this book below….

The house we are going to live in is located in Denmark, and is more or less similar to this swedish boathouse next to a lake in Sweden…our coming home is a friends house,  a black woodenhouse, a lot of windows, wild garden, lakeview, trees….

a very lovely terrace, huge kitchen and livingroom like in the last photo, with a lovely staircase which leeds to another living-guestroom…

After many years in Greenland, we are not saying good bye, but SEE YOU LATER.

Read a little about the stunning and lovely area we love so much and say thank you for all the amazings views, animals, light, weather :          Our blueberryhill area

If walls could talk they would tell that they had a little family which loves their blue house….and hope another family will love it as much as we do…

Lego wonder at home

thousands of new Lego bricks invading one room, our living room. Happy proud girls, telling everyone we have 50 kg of new Lego at home, and my mother work with Lego bricks in her company…thats hard to beat…

Preparing for tomorrow a group of students coming here to work with the bricks in a project ….. several of the boys were so eager to participate and had lots of light in their eyes, at last an interesting process speaking to the boys…

In the beginning of november I will facilitate some Lego Serious Play Workshops for a group of students from Greece, France and Greenland, where we will built cultures, things in common and what to learn from each other….

Even the cat find it lovely, and I must admit, organizing and sorting the bricks is quite meditative…

By the way, I will soon help an architecture class in the US, with knowledge about designing a studio/workspace for facilitators to make the best possible space to work with Lego Serious Play. A dream facilitator workspace…

At the top of that dreamspace list will be…

  1. High tables
  2. A lot of open storage and having access from several angles
  3. A workspace at the floor to sit or lay when you build….
  4. …..and so much more

originality of spirit ….

Gorgeous atmospheres of the World from my favourite magazine, World of Interiors

As a professional interior designer this magazine just speak to me in all directions, colourwise, history, styles, personality,  or as described by themselve “authoritative, relevant, lavish – and unpredictable, quality and attention to detail”…..

I love it, thats why I bring in a LOT of photos this time…

Books, mirrors, plants, paintings, shelves, lamps, vases, rugs, pillows…I like everytghing about these interiors. The simplicity and cosyness….

indian summer look

like the feeling of a kitten sleeping on the laps, or sitting in front of the house in the morning drinking a cup of coffee. I love when people fill up the walls with treasures and the floor is covered with small carpets (I’m trying to write with a little nameless kitten thinking he should help as well)….so short text for now.
