Polar touch

Louise Bourgeois 4 art pieces from different exibitions and series, but still related both by title and theme…I love them…

talking floors

I found this beautiful rug in progress, it looks like a forest in different seasons. It also  reminds me of knitting patterns. The colours would fit so well with plywood.

I have been weaving in my early teen years…and actually had a huge professional loom, but that demands a lot more space than I have now…

Plywood

I love this expression with plywood, so simple, nordic, clean, warm, familiar look from the seventies…

The material in itself is enough decoration, and a good background for all the furnitures.

In my recent museum project the plywood was the basic material all over the museum, floors, walls, ceilings, some raw, others painted and the material itself gives me such a box feeling…

floors

4 different concrete floors solved with different solutions, which give them its own expression and style…the LED solution in the hall is really nice, it would be nice at a officehallway….

Boho

why is it that boho is so nice…like jumping in to a cave, I love being around this style and design, but having it at home is different…perhaps if the space was much bigger….or perhaps when I grow older and wiser…

nature and gems

last blog for today…these beautiful jewelleries, looking like nature…huge, noisy and delicate…I love them, and would wear them if I had the chance…so simple integrating your surrounding…

Bolia.com their Autumn/Winter 2014 trends and colours

speaking colours, I have been doing a lot of interior design at my other work at the Goverment. And these are the colours of all the meetingrooms, plus certain areas of the departments…it has really lifted the Goverment and their image…more sharp, more soft and with a lot more character…

colours

I had an idea about colours at the museum, and at last the rosa purple colour came on a huge wall. I have to take some pictures about colours, detail, light, stories…but first some days with ordinary dailylife schedule…the middle picture actually shows the palette for the place…although the blue is dark grey and light grey instead…

I love seeing a colour on a huge wall…it gives me so much pleasure and delight, and to discover the impact of the colours on people. I see a connection between colour and healing…wouldn´t it be wonderful to work with colours at the hospital and at the dentist…

Or seeing a beautiful colour or art work at the ceiling of an operating theatre…or at the patientroom. My youngest daughter are going through a big surgery in some weeks, thats why I would love to make her surrounding most beneficial during her healing…and I know what impact colours and well designed rooms does for people in general….
