Oceanlove

So still and quiet, just by watching it and being close to it is healing and helping me to release stress, negative thoughts and to stay present in this moment. There is still some months to go before I can slip myself in to it, but yesterdays sun and temperatures gave a little springmessage. I love the feeling the ocean creates inside, limitlessness and expansion of space.

Small trips

Taking my bike on the train to give my old father some newly baked bread
New part of the Metro in Copenhagen in progress

Now where I can jump on my bike and bring it with me on the citytrains but also in the busses, I can go everywhere. This morning I baked some bread early early, biked together with my eldest to her work where she started at 8am, and then went on to visit my old father in City to eat breakfast with him. I love it!

Spring energy

Just a little trip to Copenhagen where I have spent more time enjoying time with family and friends than I remembered to take photos. But the days have included lovely traintrips, long walks, seeing old friends, enjoying the warm weather, sun, flowers and the smell of spring, nice food, crossing a lot of bridges and oceans, our cat with us, buying drawing tools in my favourite drawing store, playing games, a lot of reading in a book from Mooji, 2 day old lamb, lamas…it has felt like floating…so lovely days…

things done in a weekend

This weekend – here and there – Aarhus, Ribe, Vester Vedsted, and in between…below what I captured – the rest is in my heart and mind together with my loved ones ❤

Beaches, ocean, forrest, lovely kids and animals, a lot of driving in Denmark, nice familytime, museums, countryside, delicious food, warm weather, interesting history, georgeous windows and doors, piercing time, vineyard, plants and flowers, heaven and earth, treasures found, clothline put up in the garden….and so much more…

The ferry from Jutland to Sealand
Vadehavscentret – The gate to Unesco world heritage

One big beautiful bathroom

Hours at the beach – swimming – sunbathing – eating icecream is soooo nice when you have lived 15 years in Greenland where the ocean is around 0-1 celcius the whole year around – it can be very warm in Greenland – but swimming is rare – I really appreciate beach visits right now.

And this particular beach is located at the end of a long road in the forest and in the end the wonderful Moesgård Museum is located – right before this very beautiful beach and surroundings.

Balanced education

Today we paid a visit to the new school of my youngest daughter – a wonderful Waldorf/Rudolf Steiner school in Aarhus. The school was the reason we located us where we did in Denmark – and we were thrilled by our choice after todays meeting.

This school has a balanced education between body/mind/soul or movement/intellectual and creative lessons. As a creative it felt good to experience this balance – 1/3 of each – because that gives a more harmony in dailylife.

I wish it was me who was going to start at the school 😊 besides its beautiful old buildings, the school is having a big forrest in the backyard where the children can go out and play and have lessons, and the ocean in front of the school – which of course is also integrated in the lessons.

No Ipads – a lot of handwriting and drawing/painting your schoolwork…Everymorning the whole school sing together, 6years old – 20 years old pupils. In between the school buildings there is a kindergarten.

To be continued…just first impression.
