Back home after a lovely trip further north in Greenland, to a little settlement, 550 people, where I have been doing first part of an interior project, which will be made in the fall. The place Kangerlussuaq is the biggest port of Greenland, where most flights get in.
In between working I had time to enjoy nature and spending time with my girls….a whole week with hot weather, +23, a lovely wind and of course a lot of mosquitoes. It was lovely to show the girls the amazing Icecap, which I have seen and standing on at several occasions different places in Greenland during the years…but lovely to show my kids…its still stunning….
And then we had the experience to see a snowhare just a few meters from us…so sweet it was…but we didnt see any muskox close, but ate a lot of its meat…its very delicious.
Small and twisted ceramic and textiled worlds….which fell in to my lap….That hanger is so wonderful and invites to swing upright with your whole body…interesting frame for an image….it gives associations to something from a classical museum…
I don’t have any clue how this would be to use, the thing that amuse me is the fantasy of other people….how do you get the idea to make a sofa birdnest? Even with various combinations in the materials….and which buyer does this piece of furniture fit to?
It certainly ask for a lot of space, and doesn’t itself gives space for a huge amount of people….its more an ego furniture…but very funny indeed….birdnest sofa lol……

There is something about sketchbooks where you just jump in to another world, and get inspired by the images and notes…my bunch of books from years back still inspire me, but they are not disciplined as the enclosed colourful sketchbook, mine contain things I find flowers, small “important” items, photos,a colour or a written note …these books are funny, simple and stories itself….
After some very busy days today is my first vacationday…the sun is shining, the children are jumping up and down as a spacehopper, and just waiting to pack their stuff and jump on the flight…not that we are going that far…but leaving for a week to a very beautiful place in Greenland, where Im going to make an interiorjob….and I so much like the space to have a glove of nature…lets see…I have to be creative with the things at the destination, so hopefully I find what I need….
