Huge meouw from a tiny kitten

this is what we have at home, a similar tiny little kitten, black, green eyes, long long tail, very brave, curious, sometimes afraid, amorous, playful, and sad and longing to meet our  big male cat. They have not met yet, for now the little one stays in a little room so both cats get used to each others smell, sounds and as this morning had a little glimpse of each other through a door slot (that was when the little one screamed loudly, “I hear you other cat, I want to meet you”.

The little kitten was found with the head stucked in a screen at the engine of a car, the owner of the car couldnt understand the strange sound, so the owner went to solve it at the mechanic. Here they found the little kitten stucked….it went to the veterinary and later to the animal shelter, and yesterday we had it….meouw….and no name yet…and our big cat thinks it very very strange…

Tunnulik (Blue Whale)

We have them here in Nuuk during summertime, where they eat, but we dont have the humans rowing like this. The whales can be up to 33 metres long and weighs up to 190 ton. The spout can be up till 9 metres high, that is really a lot..

Years ago I saw a group of whales from my flight, when I was departing Nuuk, that was a very amazing sight like this! By the way, a close friend told me this is a photoshopped photo…because the rowers can’t row at the ocean, and the Blue Whale is swimming in more turbulent water than a rowers water…nice to know, but nicely photoshopped…

a class in ceramic

I wonder what I thought, when I applied the ceramic course, besides having some creative time, fun experience and hopefully some nice products in the end…the photos is what I dream about creating…but the funny thing is I hate having clay on my hands, you know the feeling of more and more dry hands…

I had a weeks course in ceramic during my study at The School of Design. I thought it looked so nice to sit and create pottery and ceramic, but I forgot the drying part….now I give it a try again…

deep in the fiord

My eldest daughter Anouk Selma came back from the fiord yesterday, a week at the camp school, full of lovely experiencees, reindeer hunt, fishing trouts, finding blueberries, campfire, watching colourful northern light in the evening, and shooting a lot of nice pictures, that she kindly have given me the opportunity to show here.
